Roe v Wade
The elite media and “progressive” politicians tell us that the majority of Americans support Roe v Wade, I don’t believe it and I think I can prove it to your satisfaction.
Over the last 20 years I’ve published the following poll in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, on the San Francisco Peninsula and in the Tri-Valley of Contra Costa County and in Castro Valley in Alameda County. The results NEVER varied by more than 2 or 3 points in each category.
1 Should abortion on demand be the law of the land?
Yes-47% NO-53%
2 Should abortion be declared illegal?
Yes-33% NO-67%
3 Should abortion, in cases of rape, incest or to save the mothers life be legal?
Yes-86% NO-14%
4 Should an abortion, for any reason, be allowed in the 2nd trimester?
YES-51% No-49%
(A number of Yes respondents qualified their response if the life of the mother was in danger.)
5 Should an abortion, for any reason be allowed in the 3rd trimester?
Yes-26% No-74%
(Again more than half of the 26% qualified their yes response if the life of the mother was in danger. Only 12% supported abortion on demand.)
6 Should the parents be notified prior to the abortion of a minor child?
Yes-65% No-35%
7 Should the approval of at least one parent be required before am abortion is performed on a minor child?
Yes-58% No-42%
8 Would you support a 48 hour waiting period and informed consent requirement prior to the performance of an abortion?
Yes-61% No-39%
9 Would you support a limit on the number of abortions one individual could have?
Yes-52% No-48%
10 Would you support sex selection abortions?
Yes-11% No-89%
11 Should the father be notified when a woman requests an abortion?
Yes-41% No-559%
12 Should partial birth abortion be legal in any trimester, for any reason other than to save the life of the mother?
Yes-9% No-91%
Throw out the 12% who support abortion on demand with no restrictions and the 14% who would refuse to allow an abortion under any set of circumstances and you have a better picture of what the “American People” believe.

I believe that after the first trimester abortion should not be considered. Key word is considered. There is also the problem of if the mother is fit economically to have the baby.. I find it surprising that 14% voted no abortion from incest, rape, or danger to the mother's life...
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, I also think that people should be able to do what they want to do, and that there should be no restrictions or laws against abortions.....now that I've stated that, I'm wondering if there were no restirctions, would the abortion rate rise because people are finding no reason to have unprotected sex, thinking "I can just go to the hospital and get rid of the baby!" It's a tough decision, and there are too many "what ifs" so, I think it should be left alone.
