Taxpayers Funding ACLU Attacks Against Conservative Organizations

Talk about adding insult to injury, the Civil Rights Act, 42 United States Code 1988 gives the ACLU the right to ask for court awarded attorney’s fees whether or not any attorney’s fees have been incurred, in addition to court costs.

This is the organization dedicated to the destruction of the American Family, Boy Scouts, Religion, capitalism, our national sovereignity, morality and even the United States as we know it. And we’re funding their efforts!

Just to mention a few examples, they received:

* $940,000 in a suit against San Diego to deny the Boy Scouts use of a city park.
* $50,000 from a Tennessee county in a suit to remove the Ten Commandments.
* $121,000 from the State of Kentucky in a similar suit.
* $500,000 in the Roy Moore Ten Commandments case.
* $50,000 in a case to remove a cross from “government” land.

While judges are under no obligation to award these funds to the ACLU, thus far none that I am aware of have rejected the groups claims for this largesse, Why, I can only surmise that either most judges are afraid to incur the wrath of this legal powerhouse, or they share a common goal.

Talk about a BULLY PULPIT, hundreds of municipalities, school districts and private organizations with budgets already under pressure have backed down rather than contest the charges of the ACLU in court.

For some strange reason a large number of our elected representatives, the ACLU and appointed judges can’t understand that Freedom OF Religion does not mean Freedom From Religion and actively support the MYTH of Separation of Church and State. Few, except the most radical “progressive” would see the phrase “under God” in the Pledge recited by our school children, as the government establishing a STATE religion. The Boy Scouts “to do my duty to God and Country) drives the ACLU and their supporters crazy, doesn’t come close to establishing a State religion and anyone with half a brain knows it.

I can’t understand why a nation with a public that overwhelmingly believes in a Supreme Being, your choice of title, would stand by and let an elite minority control a vital portion of the national agenda. Why is it that we can get almost fanatically aroused over whether a particular sports team beats another while we sit on our hands and allow secular humanists to destroy our culture.

Are we so afraid of being labeled bigot, racist, homophobe or any of the other “derogatory” labels these people use to ridicule our religion, patriotism or culture that we’re willing to let them destroy our social structure?

First, we should insist that judges refuse to grant the fees demanded by the ACLU, and vote to recall those who continue this extortion. Then we should demand that our “independent” press publicize this practice, most people I talked to, weren’t aware that they were funding this bunch of crazies. Then we should demand that our judges and elected representatives at all levels, stop this “Living Constitution” nonsense and act within their oath of office.

Let’s get moving!
